Church Policy on Harassment, Misconduct & Disruptive Behavior
Our church is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for everyone. Harassment, intimidation, abuse of authority, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
This policy applies to all members, attendees, volunteers, staff, and leaders during church services, events, communications, and ministry activities.
Prohibited conduct includes:
Unwanted comments or remarks
Unwelcome physical contact
Repeated unwanted attention or communication
Sexual misconduct or inappropriate sexualized behavior
Intimidation, manipulation, or misuse of authority
Disruptive behavior that interferes with church activities or the well-being of others
Reporting
Concerns may be reported through Church Center or directly to church leadership. Reports will be documented, reviewed, and addressed appropriately. Retaliation against anyone making a good-faith report is prohibited.
Accountability
Most violations will be addressed through the church's three-strike accountability process, which may result in warnings, restrictions, suspension, or removal from participation or leadership roles.
Immediate Action
Serious misconduct—including abuse, sexual assault, threats, stalking, abuse of minors or vulnerable individuals, or criminal behavior—may result in immediate removal from church activities and referral to civil authorities when required.
Restoration
While the church believes in repentance and restoration, the safety of the congregation remains the priority. Accountability and appropriate consequences are necessary parts of that process.
If you’ve had a concerning encounter with another person in the church or at a church event, please use this confidential form to notify leadership and begin a process of documentation and managing the situaiton.
