At Sailor’s Union, we call our small groups Crew. These groups are spread across various locations in Baltimore and meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Crew offers a place for members to gather, study the Bible, build relationships, and support one another in their spiritual growth. Whether you're new to the church or have been here for a while, joining a Crew is a great way to connect, grow in faith, and experience community.
Children’s ministry
Our Children’s Ministry is dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where kids can grow in their faith. Through age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, music, crafts, and fun activities, we help children understand God’s love and teachings. Our goal is to nurture their spiritual growth and build them up in their identity in Christ. We partner with families to guide children in their faith journey and provide opportunities for them to experience God in meaningful ways.
Greeters
Our Greeters Team is the first point of contact for anyone visiting our church. With warm smiles and open hearts, our greeters help create a welcoming atmosphere for all. Whether it’s answering questions, offering assistance, or simply providing a friendly face, our greeters are here to ensure that everyone feels at home and valued from the moment they arrive. We believe that a welcoming church sets the tone for a meaningful worship experience, and our team is dedicated to making everyone feel comfortable and connected.
WORSHIP
Our Worship Team leads the congregation in meaningful and uplifting worship experiences. Through music, song, and prayer, our team creates an atmosphere where people can connect with God and express their faith. Whether through contemporary worship, traditional hymns, or spontaneous moments of praise, the Worship Team is committed to helping others engage deeply in worship and experience the presence of God. We believe that worship is not just a service, but a lifestyle, and our team strives to lead by example, inspiring others to worship with heart and spirit.
Outreach
Our Evangelism Team is dedicated to going out into the community every Saturday morning to meet people where they are. With a heart for sharing the gospel, we engage in conversations on the streets, offering the hope and love of Christ to those around us. Through personal connections and open dialogue, we invite others to experience the life-changing message of salvation. Our team believes in the power of reaching out, building relationships, and spreading the good news with compassion and boldness.
